Terms of Service

Please note: these Terms apply to our current pre-registration phase and to using the nethitch.com website. They will be expanded before the official NetHitch app launch. By pre-registering you agree to them.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the NetHitch website and pre-registration service (together, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and NetHitch (“NetHitch”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using them you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have the legal right to enter into these Terms and are not barred by law from using them.
  • You will provide accurate and truthful information.

When the NetHitch app launches, additional eligibility rules will apply, including that you have not been convicted of a sexual or violent offence and are not registered as a sex offender. We may verify your age and identity at any time and may remove anyone who breaks these rules.

3. Pre-registration

When you pre-register, you agree to:

  • Give accurate and current information.
  • Not create multiple false entries or use automated tools to sign up.

By ticking the required consent boxes and submitting the form:

  • You give explicit consent to receive emails about NetHitch’s launch and early access benefits.
  • You understand that pre-registration does not guarantee immediate access at launch. We may offer early access in phases and at our discretion.
  • You understand your email is stored securely and is never sold to third parties.

4. Acceptable use

NetHitch is committed to staying safe and respectful. You agree not to:

  • Try to break our security, validation or database systems.
  • Scrape, crawl or copy data from the website.
  • Upload viruses or harmful code.
  • Pretend to be someone else or give false information.
  • Harass, abuse or threaten anyone.
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

5. Intellectual property

All NetHitch branding, logos, software, designs and materials belong to NetHitch and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may not use our trademarks or materials without our written permission.

6. Termination

We may remove you from the pre-registration list at any time, with or without notice, if we suspect fraud or you break these Terms. You may ask to be removed at any time by emailing support@nethitch.com.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE WEBSITE WILL ALWAYS WORK WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR THAT EVERY ERROR WILL BE FIXED. We disclaim all warranties to the extent the law allows, including implied warranties of quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, NetHitch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability will not exceed what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless NetHitch and its team from any claims, damages or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Disputes will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If they cannot be resolved, they will be settled by binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and each party will bear its own costs unless the arbitrator decides otherwise.

11. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and NetHitch about the Services and replace any earlier agreement.

12. Assignment and force majeure

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will tell you about significant changes by email. If you keep using the Services after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
